Guidelines for planning stronger, more resilient electrical infrastructure

The Planning stronger, more resilient electrical infrastructure guidelines intend to:

  • Inform Queenslanders about the electricity supply network and the impacts that flooding and cyclones can have on electricity supply.
  • Inform Queenslanders about the impact that the 2010/2011 events had on the electrical infrastructure network.
  • Identify the lessons learnt from the recent natural disasters.
  • Provide key considerations for electricity distribution, land use planning, emergency planning and management, building and design including the home.

Renewable Energy Network Benefit Statement

The Renewable Energy Network Benefit Statement provides the renewable energy sector with information to help identify constrained network areas - or areas where new large developments are being planned - where renewable energy may provide a suitable solution.
