electrical linespersons/live linespersons
Successful applicants must have electricity supply industry experience and will possess, or be able to immediately obtain, the appropriate Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency. Applicants must possess a current driver's licence, have the ability to obtain a Heavy Rigid driver's license, have a proven safety record, a good level of physical fitness, and be a strong team player. Participation in an after hours standby roster, and availability during emergencies and storms, are requirements of this role. A reasonable amount of overtime may be required.
electrical fitter mechanics
ENERGEX is currently looking for qualified Electrical Tradespersons with a background in electricity distribution, including maintenance and construction. Positions are available in Brisbane, Ipswich and Southport.
electrical jointers
Responsible for the safe installation, termination and jointing of low voltage cables (up to 240 V / 415 V) in both energised and de-energised situations and de-energised high voltage cables (up to 11kV). ENERGEX uses a variety of cables including paper lead cables and XLPE cables.
