Full time positions may also available for trade qualified persons who have already completed their Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Associate Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
ENERGEX employs appropriately trade qualified persons who possess an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in operational areas including:
- Asset Services -distribution design/planning, overhead and underground transmission, field test, substation design and control centre;
- Asset Management - network investment and transmission planning, distribution and reliability planning, technical standards; and
- Works Division – concept design and estimation.
As part of your training you may initially spend short periods in different parts of the technical business relevant to your positions to fast track your knowledge of ENERGEX's business. Additionally, you will spend periods of time at ENERGEX’s in-house technical training centre to develop Technical skills and knowledge of ENERGEX’s network.
Salary and conditions shall be discussed at interview and shall be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Your trade qualifications mean that you can participate in emergency storm activities.
