ENERGEX currently employs over 350 trainees and apprentices. We are committed to developing the potential of both our existing workforce through applied apprenticeship and traineeship options.
ENERGEX traineeships provide an excellent opportunity to extend your technical career, within an innovative company. In 2005 ENERGEX implemented an innovative Program aimed at providing a structured training and development path for Para Professionals within the business.
The Technical Trainee Program can be either be a two year (full time) or four year (part time) program. Participants complete an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering at TAFE, while participate in job rotations throughout the business. The program also comprises of on-the-job and off the job training covering both technical and business skills training.
To be eligible, participants must have a trade qualification as an Electrical Mechanic, Electrical Fitter Mechanic, Linesperson or Jointer.
