Aligning our business operations with community values is an essential part of our corporate mission and vision.
To achieve this, we undertake selected sponsorships that support and help strengthen the communities in which we operate.
We are currently supporting sponsorships in the areas of:
- Safety
- Education
- Energy Efficiency
- Environment
As it is essential that our sponsorships deliver maximum benefit for all parties, the following criteria have been developed to assess all sponsorship proposals that fit the above description.

brand synergy
Maintaining a strong brand is central to our business. ENERGEX is dedicated to building a reliable, safe and efficient energy network that is valued by our customers. Our brand positioning, Positive Energy, reflects this commitment and keeps us focused on providing outstanding customer service.
target audience
The sponsorship should be visible and relevant to our primary target audience, which is the South East Queensland community.
leveragability
The sponsorship should present multiple opportunities to deliver key messages to our target audience in a way that is innovative and has impact.
exclusivity
In most cases, it is important that ENERGEX is the only energy company involved with the sponsored property.
value
Each sponsorship must represent value for ENERGEX and demonstrate a measurable return on investment.
resources
The sponsored organisation should have marketing capability to assist to implement the proposal and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes from the sponsorship.
timing
We require proposals a minimum of six weeks in advance of the commencement of the proposed event/program in the case of a minor sponsorship, and three months in the case of a major program or event. Proposals provided with less lead time than this may not be considered.
