Micro-generation including solar photovoltaic
As an installer of small scale grid connected micro-generators, you play an important role in guiding ENERGEX customers through the installation process.
Small scale gird connected micro-generators can convert renewable energy into electricity that can be used in a customer’s home or business premises.
They also offer the possibility to export any excess energy to the grid for use by others.
Concerning the installation of these systems, ENERGEX is involved in two aspects:
- We provide permission for the customer to connect their micro-generation to the grid.
- Where we are the meter provider, we change or re-program the meter to read the potential generation produced by the micro-generation system.
