Electricity Industry Code
The Electricity Industry Code is a regulatory instrument that defines among other things, the guaranteed service levels and performance requirements for electricity distributors and retailers operating in Queensland. The Code also contains three contract Annexures: Standard Connection Contract (SCC), Standard Retail Contract (SRC) and Standard Coordination Agreement (SCA).

Standard Coordination Agreement (SCA)
The Standard Coordination Agreement is an agreement between the electricity distributor (ENERGEX) and electricity retailers. It defines how the distributor and the retailer will interact in providing their respective services to their common customer. |
 |
Standard Retail Contract (SRC)
A deemed contract between the customer and the responsible retailer at the premise. A Standard Retail Contract is deemed to be in place if no Negotiated Retail Contract exists between the retailer and the customer, and must be offered by the retailer responsible for the premise. The Government-approved Maximum Uniform Tariffs apply to a Standard Retail Contract. |

Standard Connection Contract (SCC)
The Standard Connection Contract defines the terms under which a premise is connected to the electricity distribution network. It is a deemed contract between the electricity distributor and the customer regarding delivery of electricity. |
