The ENERGEX Twitter account is managed by the Corporate Communications team, on behalf of all ENERGEX departments. We may occasionally use some automation (such as tools which generate tweets from RSS feeds) to ensure the information posted is timely.
If you follow us, you can expect between 1-10 tweets on a working week day* covering some or all of the following:
- Alerts about new content on our other digital channels (careers, safety & storm information, network projects, videos on YouTube, media releases, sponsorships etc)
- Invitations to provide feedback on specific issues.

If you follow us on Twitter we may decide to follow you back. Being followed by us does not imply endorsement of any kind.
availability
We will update and monitor our Twitter account during office hours, Monday to Friday. During times of power interruptions or during severe weather we will also update our Twitter account which may be on weekends and evenings.
There may be circumstances outside of our control where Twitter is unavailable. We apologise in advance if this causes any inconvenience. In this instance you may be able to find the information you are looking for on our website www.energex.com.au or by calling us on 13 12 53.
@replies and direct messages
We welcome feedback and ideas from all our followers, and endeavour to join the conversation where possible. However, we are not able to reply individually to all the messages we receive via Twitter.
The Corporate Communications team reads all @replies and Direct Messages and ensures that any emerging themes or helpful suggestions are passed to the relevant people at ENERGEX.
