electricity load control
In accordance with prudent asset management, ENERGEX regularly controls electricity load throughout the year. This is done for a range of reasons including:
- Peak demand control;
- Asset management; and
- Risk management.
ENERGEX’s switching program controlling load on Tariff 33 and Tariff 31 varies from season to season throughout the year to in order to optimise the management of network load.
