Prioritycare

At ENERGEX, we understand some of our customers have special requirements.

We have created the prioritycare system to support customers who rely on ENERGEX to supply power to their homes for life support systems such as kidney dialysis machines and oxygen concentrators.

We provide a special purpose telephone number to ensure customers relying on life support systems experience minimum delays when telephoning for information or advice regarding power supply.

How do I become a member?

If you or a member of your household relies on either of the above mentioned life support systems, please follow this process:

  1. Contact your electricity retailer to register your details.
  2. Your electricity retailer will advise us to include you on our prioritycare system.
  3. We will provide a letter and brochure outlining important information, including the prioritycare telephone number.

As your retailer keeps us informed of any changes to your circumstances, it is important that you contact them for:

  • Changes to your contact details, including phone number and postal address
  • Electricity rebates
  • Matters involving your electricity account
  • Changes to the use of the life support system at your premises
