Commercial and Industrial Program

The Commercial and Industrial (C&I) program offers eligible businesses funding to improve the payback of implementing projects that lower energy usage during peak demand periods.

Popular projects include:

Installation of power factor correction (PDF 1.6 mb) equipment
Lighting upgrades
Heating ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) upgrades

The program is currently focused on large C&I customers whose maximum peak electricity demand is greater than 1,000 Kilo-Volt-Amps (K.VA). However, we are looking to expand the program to include small to medium sized enterprises in the coming months.
