Partnering with rescue services

Through our affiliations with the following rescue organisations, we are helping to provide South East Queenslanders with essential safety services.

Queensland Fire and Rescue Service

ENERGEX has provided a $75,000 equipment grant to the Rural Fire Service.

This helps to enhance the operational and support capacity of rural fire fighters in South East Queensland.

As a result of this our project, brigades from Dayboro and District, Coochin Creek, Kandanga and Beechmont have been provided with equipment, including protective personal equipment, chainsaws, generators, first aid kits and defibrillators.

The new grant builds on a range of initiatives put in place following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the QFRS and ENERGEX in August 2007.

Volunteer Marine Rescue Brisbane

We are proud supporters of the Volunteer Marine Rescue Association of Queensland.

The association provides volunteer marine search and rescue services for the communities along the sea coast of Queensland.

Our partnership has allowed quicker and easier access to rescue gear on the way to the pontoon and the craft.
