Energy Conservation Communities (ECC)

Air-conditioners, pools and hot water systems are significant contributors to peak demand.

You can reduce the impact of these energy-hungry appliances by joining the ECC program and adopting simple sustainable solutions that help use resources more efficiently. For doing your bit, you’ll receive up to $600 in rewards and potentially save hundreds in electricity costs.

To get involved, you’ll simply need to live in the Ipswich, Redlands or Sunshine Coast Council areas or select suburbs in the Brisbane and Gold Coast Council areas and have one or more of the following:
