Your network, your choices
Between November 2014 and October 2016 we worked with customers, government, electricity retailers and interested stakeholders on proposed changes to residential and small business customer tariffs. We sought input on the proposed introduction of a demand tariff, the way this tariff was structured and how it should be introduced.
The outcomes of our customer and stakeholder feedback were used in the development of our 2017-20 Tariff Structure Statement (TSS), this was submitted to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) on 27 November 2015 for their assessment.
In August 2016 the AER released a draft decision to approve the TSS. We continued to work with customers and retailers and submitted our revised TSS to the AER on 4 October 2016.
More information and a link to our submissions can be found on our Pricing publications webpage.
You can find information to help you understand how the changes may impact you in the brochures below:
Over the next few years we will continue to work with our customers and stakeholders on implementing these changes and developing our Tariff Structure Statement for beyond 2020.
