Metering charges

With the Power of Choice rule change taking effect on 1 December 2017, we're no longer responsible for installing electricity meters as they're subject to contestability (open to competition).

We're only able to provide metering services to existing regulated meters as long as they are in operation. The costs for these services are recovered from our customers through Metering Services Charges.
