360° Look up and Live
In December 2015, we launched our new Look up and Live campaign - Spot the Dangers
We're excited to develop this creative, innovative and targeted campaign to help remind our customers and the community of the dangers of overhead powerlines.
The videos were created using the latest 360 filming technology which is a first for an Australian utility. We hope you enjoy watching them as much as we did making them and don't forget to share them with family and friends.
There are three scenes to explore. How long will it take for you to find the real risk?
No narrative in this video.
What you need to do next?
To watch the videos you'll need the latest version of YouTube app on your smartphone or tablet. If viewing from a desktop, you'll need the latest version of Chrome or Firefox. Unfortunately these videos will not work in Internet Explorer.
Play around with the scene by moving your hands up and down, left and right. For the best experience watch the scene through a virtual reality (VR) headset, like Google Cardboard.
Look around how many dangers can you spot at this typical Sunday barbecue?
Pacey is on the bicycle. He must think his mad hipster beard will protect his noggin if he falls off his bike
By the BBQ is Bruce. A gym teacher in the 70s, Bruce still sports a dangerous length of shorts.
No, Bruce. Don't pick up that cricket ball!
Did you spot Melanie? If she could pry her peepers from Pinterest she could see she's heading straight for poor Pacey!
Perpetuating the creepy reputation of clowns everywhere, Bobo over by the stairs has been waiting half an hour for someone to fall for his booby trap.
Bobo you're a class act.
All of these could be pretty dangerous, but did you spot the real danger?
Watch again this time look up.
