Upcoming Basic Offer for Dynamic Connections – Coming April 2026

Ergon Energy Network and Energex are preparing to introduce a Basic Offer for Dynamic Connections in April 2026, subject to approval by the Australian Energy Regulator.

This new offer will provide a simplified approach for connecting small inverter energy systems (IES) (0–30 kVA) under dynamic export and import limits. It is designed to provide customers with greater flexibility for import and export and make compliance easier for contractors while supporting network stability.
