Right to Information

ENERGEX Limited, as a Government Owned Corporation, is committed to making documents about our functions and operations publicly available in accordance with the 'Right to Information Act 2009 and Information Privacy Act 2009'.

The primary purpose of the legislation is to give a right of access to information in the government’s (including a GOC’s) possession or under the government’s control unless, on balance, it is contrary to the public interest to give the access.

We are required to publish details of documents released in accordance with the legislation, via our online Publication Scheme.

Access

As a member of the public, you have the right to:

  • Apply for access to, or copies of, documents held by ENERGEX.

To do this, download and complete the Right to Information or Information Privacy Access Application.

  • Request access to, or copies of, documents that relate to your personal information and apply to have that information amended.

To do this, download and complete the Information Privacy Personal Information Amendment Application.
