How batteries work

Network batteries provide a way to capture and store extra electricity produced by rooftop solar in a local community.

Once stored, this electricity can then be used by households and businesses in that local community at another time when electricity demand is high.

During the day, network batteries are charged with rooftop solar energy.

And at night, network batteries are used to power homes with renewable energy.
